September was a pretty stinky month (relatively) for earnings from Squidoo. Of course, Hurricane Ike decidedly played a role in the drop off in money made from Squidoo. However, October is quickly turning into my best month ever by far.
In fact, I broke the $500 mark in one day for the first time yesterday!
I know I said I wasn’t going to announce anything until I hit the $1,000 a day mark, but I was pretty excited so I thought that I would share.
Could end up breaking the $5,000 mark for the month depending on how the last few days pan out…
I don’t mean for this post to brag (okay, maybe a little) but it just goes to show what you can accomplish with Squidoo if you just keep pounding day in and day out creating awesome lenses that sell great stuff.
I don’t sell ebooks on any of my lenses, although a lot of people do well with them and I don’t begrudge them that at all.
In fact, I don’t build lenses about things that I don’t feel comfortable talking to people about face to face in real life. I guess that is my true litmus test on what to build lenses on.
Either way, I’m halfway to the $1,000 / day mark, maybe I can hit it by the end of the year! we shall see….

That’s fabulous, October is shaping up to be my best month ever too. September wasn’t too shabby either. I can’t wait until the Christmas sales really kick in over the next few weeks:-)

My problem is that I am deaf and firstly I want to get that off my chest. Consequently most of my lenses so far are about that. That people are not comfortable about talking about this face to face is exactly the point I’m trying to get across.Therefore I cannot see how I can have happy titles about a serious subject. Once I have accomplished that then I will move on. In the meantime while I’m learning I still want to make these lenses as best I can.

I was talking with the Captain about this last night on the chat and it’s huge but I want to point out something on a smaller scale. I had never really heard of affiliate marketing last January when I started participating on the chat. I’m now averaging about $5 a day which a lot less than the Captain is but if I kept that rate steady for a year it’s nearly $2000 and an extra couple thousand dollars a year for a self-employed artist is a big deal.
I know this is possible and I love love to read that you are actually doing it! I am determined to do the same! I am reading, studying, creating as fast as I can go (and still take care of a real j-o-b and hubby who likes to eat!)

Good info. We need all the help we can get. I have never worked so many hours and so hard for absolutely no return. can anyone give a condensed version of what to do on these lenses to get started? I am an Amazon affiliate. (Don’t need to be one for Squidoo, but I thought I’d try.) I don’t understand Amazon’s instructions all the time. Would appreciate any help. Thanks.
Way to go, Captain! Some call it bragging, I call it inspiring. I was just reading elsewhere that a person needs 60 lens to make $1,000 per month, if you’re lucky. Then I end up here and find out you’re getting that income in TWO DAYS. Now that’s motivational…at least to me. Good luck hitting your next goal.

I always recommend using Squidoo Lenses for link purposes. However, quite often I see sales generated from my Lenses, before the visitor even makes it to the main site. Squidoo has unbelievable pull in the SERP’s, and remains an internet marketer’s great friend.

I never thought it was possible. The most I’ve made till since i started 9 months ago is $300 in a month!
Im only on 74 lenses, but I guess its quality over quantity that brings in the money:)
