Go Module Mining on Squidoo

Oftentimes it’s easy to get wrapped up with just the basic modules in Squidoo. A lot of lensmasters get into a ‘groove’ where they know what modules they like and they know which ones they are going to use.
A lot of Squidoo lensmasters seem to occaisionally forget the real depth that is in the module [...]

A Guide to Squidoo Earnings Payouts

From new and veteran lensmasters alike I often see the question of ‘How do the Squidoo Adsense Payouts work?’. While the Squidoo FAQ on Payment does an okay job of explaining this, I decided to take a stab at some of the finer points of the monthly Squidoo payout and how it works.
All about Adsense [...]

Analyzing the Squidoo Dips

Memorial Weekend was very ‘Dip’ like for me. I kept having things break, publishers discontinue their affiliate programs, lenses fall out of google like a rock, etc.
While frustrating, it’s certainly not the first time I’ve had a few days like that and it wont be the last. It did get me to thinking on the [...]

This is the beginning of a 4-part series I’m going to release this week that describes how I believe Squidoo’s internal link structure works to help you get better rankings and what you can do to take advantage of it.
Let’s start off by looking at the 4 different ‘types’ of links that go into and [...]

New Squidoo Module : Table of Contents

Yesterday, Gil announced the release of a new Table of Contents Module.
Gil’s Example:

Fluffanutta’s example after applying some of his CSS Tricks:

How it Works
The module automatically creates links to all of your modules with Titles. If your module doesn’t have a title, it doesn’t show up on the list, that simple.
Lot’s of exciting stuff going on [...]

My Squidoo Dashboard Wishlist

I’ve been trying to pound out some lenses today and have been struggling (as usual) with the unwieldy size of my dashboard. Having 300 lenses listed in one place is great for my ego, but not for getting anything productive done. Opening multiple accounts doesn’t really solve much but forcing me to remember more logins [...]

Squidoo in 2006

Two years ago this month, Squidoo looked like this:

If you click through, you can browse around the squidoo of early ‘06 a bit. Sometimes it’s good to look back on where things were in order to see how far you have come. More lenses have been built in the last 2 weeks than [...]

5 Common Misconceptions about Squidoo

I’m constantly amazed at the people I find on forums that are still stuck in last summer and convinced that Squidoo is worthless as a tool for promotion or for making money. Their loss, my gain I suppose..
However, there are some common lensbuilding and squidoo techniques that many people use that are just plain wrong. [...]
