Climbing out of The Dip

Arr... This Be The Captain! Thanks for Stopping by to check out my piratey bag of Squidoo Tricks! If you are new here, you might want to get free updates and squidoo tricks delivered straight to you via RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

A few months ago (right around 2 to be exact) I wrote a post on Captain Squid about ‘Dips’ that you run into on Squidoo. And then, a month later I wrote a bit about Setting Goals on Squidoo.

I think that this month, the light is showing at the end of the tunnel for several of my projects. The income is becoming more consistent and I’m getting better at reproducing results consistently.

I’ve found the lag time with many projects on squidoo before they begin producing significant results can be up to several months. When you set some big goals and small goals, you begin to climb through the Dip (if it’s worth climbing through).

The most important thing is not to give up on something. Finish a project and move to the next. You may quit after you are already through the Dip otherwise.

Quitting after you are already through the tough part is not what you want to do :).

Has anyone else been setting some goals with squidoo? Powering through a Dip, real or imagined? Need some help or encouragement?

Ahoy there cap’n. Seeing some of the “dips” so to speak, still don’t have this all figured out, but still trying. Just plugging away and trying to work out some project goals but those seem hard to come by. Enjoyed the read.

Just a note in the positive. Just starting out so I’m not looking for any real results for a bit. I’m still massaging my first 9 lenses to be and look like what I want, then I’ll optimise some before moving on to the next phases.

Always looking forward to your blog too
