Fun Squidoo Lensbuilding with StumbleUpon
Do you ever get total writer’s block with Squidoo? or you have ideas but you just can’t seem to get the energy to put them down in a lens?
When this happens to me I have a fun method I use that I thought I would share with you all.
Step 1 - Make sure you have StumbleUpon installed in your browser.
Step 2 - ‘Stumble’ a page (Only one! Repeated clicking can lead to many lost hours)
Step 3 - Build a lens on whatever topic that page is about.
I will usually allow myself one ‘mulligan’ in case I stumble something that I absolutely can not use (like a random picture of something I can’t make out) but in general, I’ll try and play the cards as they’re dealt so to speak.
This really helps to get the creative juices flowing a bit and can lead to some very interesting lenses.
I’ve had pretty good luck with lenses like this getting some decent traffic. If it’s popular in StumbleUpon, many people are often searching for more information on it and google/yahoo/msn is looking to find more pages about that topic.
Give it a try and let me know if it works for you!

Woohoo!
I love stumbleupon. I usually have my ‘daily stumble’ where I click on the button ONLY ONCE because if I don’t limit myself to that, I just keep on going… and going… and going… and going… and going…
