With Squidoo, it was a matter of “practice makes perfect” for me. It took me awhile, but after about 20 or so lenses, I got pretty good at it. I can now put together a decent lens in about 30-45 minutes from scratch, which is helpful when you need something quick to hit a hot niche.

I agree. I learn a lot more from doing something than I do sitting around thinking about it.

Great post! Short and sweet and encouraging!

I definitely agree, even though I’m more of a thinker than a doer. I rethink everything I’m about to do over and over again before taking any action. But I think Squidoo is actually helping me with that because I feel more confident knowing I can edit my lenses at any time even after I’ve published them. And I’ve definitely been more successful this way.

Although I still find it very helpful to read up on things, like I am right now, I also agree that failure is a crucial part of any success.
