New Must Have Tool for Squidoo Users
I’ve written before on some ‘must have’ tools for Squidoo Lensmasters. That list has gotten a little longer with the newly released Squidoo Toolbar from SquidUtils.
I had the pleasure of helping to beta test the new toolbar over the last few weeks with Fluffanutta and I can say that it’s spectacular with stuff like the ability to switch between multiple accounts instantly, instant creation of any cobranded lens you want, and a ton more.
Yea, it’s free too.
Bonus: Send me your Review of the new Toolbar or post it in the comments and I’ll take the best ones and post them on Captain Squid for everyone to see (with attribution to your blog or lenses, of course).

Sorry, but I refuse to use another toolbar. There are just too many of them. Everyone has a toolbar and all they really do is clutter the reading area of my browser. Yes, I know, your toolbar is the best for your niche. If Squidoo requires that I use a toolbar, I won’t be part of Squidoo, it’s just that simple. Bring a set of tools that works within any and all toolbars and I’ll consider it. Just don’t bring me another toolbar.

I do expect some people to not want yet-another-toolbar, and that’s fine. You’ll be pleased to know, Greg, that you are not required to use a toolbar to be a member of Squidoo – this is just an optional third-party addon.
There are some alternative addons for Firefox, which won’t take up any screen real-estate. Click on the Captain’s first link in the post above to find them.

As usual, the fluffanutta is a genius with making Squidoo an easier forum to use. I still haven’t had the chance to give the toolbar a good workout, but I will do my best to try!

I love the new toolbar. I just started using it a few days ago. It has me doing things I was not doing before, but now because it is so easy and built right into the toolbar I do it for fun. Love it! Love it! Love it!

you can always install the toolbar and deactivate it, i.e. click until the arrow beside the toolbar disappears? then when u need the toolbar just enable it again…so it wont take up too much space?

I have been using this toolbar since it came out, this really is a great addition to the Squidoo community. Thanks for another great idea Fluffa.
