New Squidoo Module : Movie Listings
A new module has been added very quietly in the past few days to Squidoo amid all of the hubub with server gremlins and such.
The Module is for Movie Listings and here’s how it works:
The module can be found under the ‘New!’ Module tab when looking for modules.
The Module edit screen looks like this:

The results you get look very similar to that of an RSS feed but with some slightly better formatting.
The only options you can choose are the target ZIP, Number of listings, and the length of each listing. There is currently no way to choose selected movies.
How to Make $$ with the Movie Module:
- Input a generic Zip from a big city and use it to spruce up a lens with a little extra ‘evergreen’ content. Google loves content that is updated often and this module is great for that.
- Use with lenses on: the Movie Industry, Making Movies, Squid Who Director/Actor/Producer lenses etc.
- Find a zip code that has a theater that shows Indy and/or old films. Use this for any kind of historic lens about theaters, actors, movies, old time entertainment etc. Even for your Squid Boo lenses!
- Use a ZIP that is near the topic of your travel or shopping related lenses. If you are talking about a place or entertainment, chances are that there’s a movie theater nearby.
