Setting Squidoo Goals
Arr... This Be The Captain! Thanks for Stopping by to check out my piratey bag of Squidoo Tricks! If you are new here, you might want to get free updates and squidoo tricks delivered straight to you via RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!
Do you currently have goals for where you want to go with Squidoo? I know I do.
From great big dreams all the way down to little bitty chores, I’ve got all kinds of Squidoo goals.
Some Lensmasters want to pay for their kids college.
Some Lensmasters want to give a million to charity.
Still other Lensmasters want to promote their business or share their interests or have fun or read something interesting…
A dream becomes a goal with two things : Purpose and Intent. If you can decide what you want to do and why you want to do it, the how gets a lot easier.
Oh yea, and if you write the goal down on a real, live, piece of paper, you have already done more than 99% of people with ‘goals’ ever will.
What are some of your Squidoo Goals?

Agreed. People like to fantasize a LOT about what they want to do but more often than not they never do anything about it.
I too have got all kinds of SquidGoals, but I guess one of them is to have extra money for college so I’m not adrift in a sea of loans when I graduate. That’d be really nice.
Great post, Captain! Made me do some thinking…
I really can connect with this post.
I joined Squidoo in late 2006 (I believe) and had absolutely NO idea what the point was or how to leverage it. I didn’t come back for almost two years. Even then, it was hard to gain some momentum.
Until I set a goal.
That goal has turned into “The 60 Day Squidoo Challenge” and I expect to complete it and hope to become a Giant Squid because of it.
If you have some time, please stop by my 60 DSC lens and if there is any feedback you can give, I’d appreciate it! There are a growing number of us who would really benefit from any tools or tips that you have to give!
Great blog (it’s featured on the 60DSC, too!)

Hi - my goal for today was to submit my lens to squoogle - but it keeps saying validation failed, or locking me out!
Do we put our own blog names somewhere here (as well as our lens?)
