Yes I have noticed this too. My lenses are not popular enough though to even worry about this, So I don,t. Its a glitch I can live with. Not being able to install any of my personal media players though is a bummer:-(

I think the Squidudes have lessened the star rating factor in lensrank because of the “You rate me, I’ll rate you” syndrome that has gone on in the past. This change has probably been a long time coming due to this. I think a lens should get more credit for traffic that is generated than for just having a star rating.
