I never got into chatrooms, Twitter is the closest thing I use to being a chatroom, but forums and message boards have been my source of success. I have membership on more than 300 different forums and I post like crazy on all of them, and every body I talk to on them knows about Squidoo, cause I'm often talking about Squidoo! That's what gets me traffic to my lenses. However, usually I'm just talking about ordinary every day things with these people. I've made a lot of online friends, and that is what has helped me most of all on Squidoo. You see, I'm not on the forums to promote my lenses, I'm on the forums to just chat with other people who like the same things I do. People like that (I like that!)
